The goal of the Community Health Endowment is to make Lincoln what it ought to be, “The Healthiest Community in the Nation.” We invite you to apply for project funding to help us in pursuing this goal. We seek projects that reflect excellence, collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the potential to improve community health.

During FY2009-10, CHE has funding available in three categories.  Click on Apply Now to select your funding category.  Please note that applications for the following targeted initiatives are BY INVITATION ONLY and a PIN number must be issued by CHE to access necessary forms:
 
•    Integration of behavioral health and primary care services at the People's Health Center; and
•    Implementation of a two-year, public/private initiative to create a healthier, more active Lincoln.

If you are considering an application for 2009/2010 TARGETED- Mayor's Task Force on the Healthcare Safety Net, it is strongly recommended that you review the Mayor's Task Force Report on the Healthcare Safety Net prior to beginning the application process.  The document will help determine the focus of your proposal.  Please contact the Community Health Endowment at 436-5516 if you have questions.

Please note that we require a preliminary Stage I concept paper and will consider applications according to the Funding Timeline.  The Concept Paper deadline is January 15, 2010 at 5:00 pm.
