The Community Health Endowment was founded with the community’s ambitious charge “to make Lincoln, Nebraska the healthiest community in the nation.” CHE asked the community to come forward with bold, creative ideas to achieve this vision. And the community has responded! Some of the ideas were born from ingenuity, some from experience, and others from the obvious. But, at the root of them all, has been a strong passion to make Lincoln a healthier place to live, work, and raise a family. We see a clear indication that our community wants Lincoln to be a “cut above the rest,” and we share that goal. Stewardship. Collaboration. Community Expertise. Innovation. Those themes run deep in the Community Health Endowment.
