To achieve the vision of making lincoln the healthiest community in the nation, the CHE board of trustees will make $3.1 million available in the 2024-25 fiscal year. Of this amount, over $700,000 will be available for new projects in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 funding cycles combined.
Funding Timeline
- May 20, 2024 - Grant application available online.
- June 13, 2024 - Applicant workshops.
- May 20 through July 18 - Grant project Idea Meetings with CHE staff.
- Although not required, having an Idea Meeting is highly encouraged. To schedule a meeting, please visit our grant portal and submit the Eligibility Form.
- August 1, 2024, 12:00pm (noon) - APPLICATIONS DUE
- October 25, 2024 - Grantees notified of award decisions.
- November 4, 2024 - Formal, public award announcement made by CHE.
- January 1, 2025 - Grant contracts begin and funding is available.
