To achieve the vision of making lincoln the healthiest community in the nation, the CHE board of trustees will make funding available for new projects in the Spring 2026 grant cycle.
Funding Timeline
- Grant application available online December 10, 2025.
- Note: All applicants are required to complete and submit an Eligibility Form in the CHE grant portal. Once your eligibility has been determined by CHE, you will receive an email with notice that the full application has been made available to you and a link to sign up for an Idea Meeting.
- January 7, 2026 - Applicant workshops.
- January 8 through February 12, 2026 - Grant project Idea Meetings with CHE staff.
- Although not required, all applicants are strongly encouraged to meet with CHE staff in the early stages of the grant application process.
- February 27, 2026, 12:00pm (noon) - APPLICATIONS DUE BY 12:00PM (SUBMIT NO LATER THAN 11:59)
- May 29, 2026 - Grantees notified of award decisions.
- June 1, 2026 - Formal, public award announcement made by CHE.
- July 1, 2026 - Grant contracts begin and funding is available.
